Design Build

Step 3 - design time

Create schematic floor plans and elevations with a conceptual estimated budget

CharestCorp is passionate about designing worship facilities. Our unique design build approach has saved churches hundreds of thousands of dollars. In some cases, the savings has been in the millions. That’s why we house our architects and builders under the same roof. We take the uniqueness of your church, the complexity of designing and building, and come up with a design that is both creative and functional –without getting you stuck in the middle.

We begin with a schematic design that serves as the basis for the construction documents, which are drafted at a later time. These sketches briefly display the layout of building ideas for the exterior of the building. Upon your approval, we create a computer generated 3-D model of your new facility so that you can actually “see” what the building might look like from the inside out.

One of the benefits of design build is that as early as the master planning and schematic design process, our architect and estimator are already collaborating efficiently to ensure a functional design according to your budget. Together, we are working with your ministry ideas and translating them into facility space.

Designing spaces for churches energizes and excites us, especially when we think about the endless possibilities there are to create your new space. We believe that it is important to help your congregation visualize the new building, and although no detailed construction plans have been drawn yet, at the end of Step 3 we provide you with a conceptual estimated budget and photo-realistic renderings in both hard copies and digital formats, so that you can begin your capital campaign and share the vision with your church.
