Koinonia Christian Fellowship

Hanford, CA

Vision

  • Create a large sanctuary with a generous lobby space, fellowship room, and classrooms on a new property.
  • Use the new sanctuary for community events as well as church functions.
  • Plan and design property for administrative offices and future growth so that one day the new sanctuary would become the church’s youth center.

Challenge

  • No city services ( water etc.) were available due to the fact that the property was located in the county
  • Metal building had been purchased three years prior by the church, which limited the architectural ability to change the structure of the building.
  • Church growing, interior space needed to be flexible.

Solution

  • Created a modular, free span structure with a well-designed but compact footprint.
  • Negotiated a low-payment leasing agreement for kitchen equipment of the highest quality.
  • A fountain in the courtyard, high ceilings, and excellent lighting made the building attractive and elegant.
  • Sound-proof wall dividers and a first-rate sound system added an extra element of quality to the center.
  • ALL WORK COMPLETED ON TIME for the event!
  • Great response and delight by congregation.
